  • Yes, your CCNP Data Center Certification will expire after three years from the date of certification. To renew your certification, you must pass one of the following: 1. Pass any current CCIE written exam or CCIE lab exam or,
    2. Pass any current CCNP concentration exam (excluding the CCNP Data Center concentration exams) or,
    3. Pass any current 642-XXX professional-level or Cisco Specialist exam (excluding Sales Specialist exams or MeetingPlace Specialist exams, Implementing Cisco TelePresence Installations (ITI) exams, Cisco Leading Virtual Classroom Instruction exams, or any 650 online exams) or,
    4. Pass any current CCIE Collaboration or CCIE Data Center written exam or lab exam or,
    5. Pass any current CCDE written or practical exam or,
    6. Pass the current Cisco Certified Architect (CCAr) interview and the CCAr board review.
    It's important to note that passing any one of the above exams will renew all your Cisco certifications, including the CCNP Data Center Certification. Also, you can attempt the renewal exam up to six months before your certification expiration date.
